Florida Panhandle Tour / March 23 - 29

Warm up your legs this spring as you spend 5 days touring the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast with Christian Adventures.  Cycle around sites like St. Joseph Peninsula, St. George Island, and Wakulla Springs State Park.  Ride with experienced guides, enjoying good Christian fellowship along the way.

Ride 4 Camp / May 26

The Ride 4 Camp is an event to raise funds to send kids to summer camp at Cran-Hill Ranch! Campers can collect pledges to raise money for their camp fees. Others can also ride and raise funds on behalf of a camper. There are a variety of age-appropriate routes to choose from. Routes will take place in Big Rapids, along the White Pine Trail, and other areas of Mecosta and Osceola Counties.

The BIG Ride / June 28

A Big ride for a Big cause! This year's ride will support the flood relief effort in Colorado - the former home of Christian Adventures! Join other riders to raise funds to assist the hundreds of families and businesses effected by the historic flooding.

• Registration Fee: $50 (50% of fees cover cost of event, 50% of fees goes directly to flood relief efforts)

Michigan Shore to Shore (Pedal & Paddle) / July 9 - 13

Start with your wheels in Lake Michigan along the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore!  Spend 3.5 days riding through the hills and backroads of northern Michigan.  Pedal past Traverse City and along the Boardman River on your way to scenic Higgins Lake.  As you pass the midway point of the tour, you will enter the Huron National Forest and the treasured AuSable River.  Ride along River Road, a registered National Scenic Route.  Complete your Shore-to-Shore tour with an afternoon of canoeing the final stretch of the AuSable River all the way to the great waters of Lake Huron!

Lake Michigan Shoreline Tour / July 20 - 29

Ride the entire Lake Michigan shoreline from New Buffalo to Mackinaw City, Michigan! This 9-day tour covers over 500 miles of some of the best shoreline riding in the country. This van-supported tour includes campground lodging and 2 catered meals per day. Enjoy daily devotions and the blessing of Christian community on this classic adventure!

Fall Pedal & Paddle / September 12 - 14

Escape for a weekend of adventure! Gather together Friday evening at our Michigan Basecamp (Cran-Hill Ranch). On Saturday, ride about 50 miles from Big Rapids to Cadillac, along the White Pine Trail. Camp along the channel at William Mitchell State Park. On Sunday, pedal about 20 miles in the morning. Then trade in your bike for a canoe and enjoy a beautiful afternoon float down the Manistee River, a National Scenic River!

Fall Cycle Weekend / September 26 - 28

Squeeze in one more weekend of fall cycling as we return to a classic route from Boyne City to Mackinaw! Camp at local campgrounds, and enjoy our famous meals! Ride 45 miles on Saturday, and 55 on Sunday. Sights include Lake Charlvoix, the Historic Ironton Ferry, Lake Michigan, the Little Traverse Wheelway, the Tunnel of Trees, and Mackinaw City!

Pictured Rocks Weekend / October 10 - 12

It doesn't get much better than Pictured Rocks in the fall! Spend two days hiking this National Lakeshore, capturing sights like Miner's Castle and Chapel Rock! We will provide your gear, meals, and even transportation from our Michigan Basecamp. So pack your bags for an amazing weekend adventure!

Give your summer some excitement! Experience rock climbing, high ropes, and more before packing your things and heading out! Hit the trail and river on this epic outdoor challenge! This is an adventure you don't want to miss!

Summer Camp for the outdoor adventurer! Sleep in rustic cabins, cook meals over the fire, hike, bike, climb, paddle, and more!! This will be one of the best weeks of your life!

Family Adventure Weekend / August 8 - 10

Give your family an adventure they'll never forget! Spend the weekend biking, paddling, rock climbing, doing the ropes course, and so much more! Events & RACES


Christian Adventures RACE / July 19

The race begins and ends at Cran-Hill Ranch.  The first leg is mountain biking on a variety of terrain, including single-track, gravel road, and paved road.  The second leg is canoeing on an inland lake.  Canoes and equipment are provided.  The final leg is running/walking trails and roads.  The route will be mostly marked.  Along the route, there will be a variety of additional challenges for your team to complete before moving on!

Teams of TWO racers will complete the entire race together. 
Teams may enter one of three race categories: Men, Women, Co-Ed

Triathlon / August 2

Race Categories
Adult (Men; Women): Individuals ages 18 and older
Youth (Boys; Girls): Individuals ages 13 – 17
Team (Men; Women; Co-ed): Teams of 2 or 3 individuals ages 13 and up
Kid’s Fun Race (Boys or Girls): Individuals ages 12 and under

Race Descriptions
Adult / Youth / Team: Race starts on Hillview Lake with a 0.5K swim out and back around marked buoys.  Then racers transition to bicycles for a 12K loop on paved roads.  Any type of bike is acceptable, but helmets are required.  Racers finish with a 4K trail run along our nature trail.

Kid’s Fun Race: This fun race is for kids ages 12 and under.  It begins with a short 50m swim out and around a buoy.  Then they will ride their bikes approximately 2K through several of the campground loops.  They will finish with a 1K run to the finish line!  This is not a team race – each racer will complete all three stages.

Join us this summer for two great oppotunities to explore nature and test your strength and endurance.

Our 4th Annual CAR-Christian Adventures Race is July 19, 2014. This will test your outdoor skills with a 5 mile hike/run, a 2 mile canoe paddle and an 12 mile mountian bike ride.

The 18th Annual Cran-Hill Triathlon will be August 2, 2014. Swim .5k in our lake, race 12k on our road course and run 4k on our outdoor trails. Races as individuals or teams.
