Copper Country Cycle Tour / August 6 - 16

Explore Michigan’s Upper Peninsula like never before!  Ride 450 miles from St. Ignace to Copper Harbor, soaking in all the best sites along the way. This 11 day van-supported tour includes 8 days of riding and one day off at the town of Munising and Pictured Rock National Lakeshore, including a scenic boat tour on Lake Superior.  Other highlights include the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, Keweenaw Peninsula, Brockway Mountain Drive, Lighthouses, Copper Mines, waterfalls, and so much more!  Ride with experienced guides, enjoying good Christian fellowship along the way.

Fall Cycle Weekend / September 18 - 20

Squeeze in one more weekend of fall cycling as we explore northwest Michigan around the Grand Traverse Bay! Ride up to 58 miles on Saturday on the Leelanau Peninsula, following the TART and Leelanau Trails, as well as area roadways.  Sights include downtown Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and a beautiful loop around Lake Leelanau.  On Sunday, ride a 45 mile loop on Old Mission Peninsula.  Sights include Old Mission Point State Park and Lighthouse, as well as the many vineyards, farms, and scenic vistas along the way!

Sleeping Bear Family Adventure / June 24 - 28

Events & RACES


Christian Adventures RACE / July 18

The race begins and ends at Cran-Hill Ranch.  The first leg is mountain biking on a variety of terrain, including single-track, gravel road, and paved road.  The second leg is canoeing on an inland lake.  Canoes and equipment are provided.  The final leg is running/walking trails and roads.  The route will be mostly marked.  Along the route, there will be a variety of additional challenges for your team to complete before moving on!

Teams of TWO racers will complete the entire race together. 
Teams may enter one of three race categories: Men, Women, Co-Ed

Triathlon / August 1

Race Categories
Adult (Men; Women): Individuals ages 18 and older
Youth (Boys; Girls): Individuals ages 13 – 17
Team (Men; Women; Co-ed): Teams of 2 or 3 individuals ages 13 and up
Kid’s Fun Race (Boys or Girls): Individuals ages 12 and under

Race Descriptions
Adult / Youth / Team: Race starts on Hillview Lake with a 0.5K swim out and back around marked buoys.  Then racers transition to bicycles for a 12K loop on paved roads.  Any type of bike is acceptable, but helmets are required.  Racers finish with a 4K trail run along our nature trail.

Kid’s Fun Race: This fun race is for kids ages 12 and under.  It begins with a short 50m swim out and around a buoy.  Then they will ride their bikes approximately 2K through several of the campground loops.  They will finish with a 1K run to the finish line!  This is not a team race – each racer will complete all three stages.

Join us this summer for two great oppotunities to explore nature and test your strength and endurance.

Our 5th Annual CAR-Christian Adventures Race is July 18, 2015. This will test your outdoor skills with a 5 mile hike/run, a 2 mile canoe paddle and an 12 mile mountian bike ride.

The 19th Annual Cran-Hill Triathlon will be August 1, 2015. Swim .5k in our lake, race 12k on our road course and run 4k on our outdoor trails. Races as individuals or teams.
