Campground Policies

Registration
Please register at the Office upon arrival or the following morning if the Office is closed.

Arrival Time
You may arrive any time after 4:00pm. You must be at the Ranch before 10:00pm. Early arrivals or extended stays must make arrangements at the Office. Check-out time is at 3:00pm.

Pet Policy
Pets are allowed provided the pet policies are followed.

  • Pets must be on a 6' leash at all times.
  • Pets may not be left unattended (not even in your camping unit). To be respectful of the close proximity of neighbors, pets must be kept quiet at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed on the beach or in any Ranch building.
  • You must clean up any mess your pet makes.
  • If a pet owner does not abide by this policy, he/she may be asked to remove the pet from the campground.

Vehicles
For safety reasons, each lot may have only 2 vehicles. All other vehicles may park in the Camp Store parking lot.

Parking
of boat trailers and extra vehicles are allowed in the Camp Store parking lot and in designated areas only.

Golf Carts are not allowed unless permission is given by the Ranch Office.

Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted on Cran-Hill Ranch property.

Fireworks are not permitted on Cran-Hill Ranch property.

Tents are allowed on any of the sites. Trenching around the tents is not allowed.

Picnic Tables may be moved from their original lots for potlucks or gatherings, but must be returned before departure.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm until 7:00 am. Playgrounds are closed during quiet hours.

Michigan State Health Code provides that no gray water (from sinks, showers, dishwater) drain onto the ground. Please dispose of this at the dump station.
State Health Codes allow no more than eight people on each lot.

Bicycles
Parents should monitor their child's riding. Encourage slow speed and caution near roads, campsites and pedestrians. All bikes should be put away by dark. No motor bikes are allowed in the campgrounds - these should be used only on the main road.

On Sunday we do not provide lifeguard, rental, or store services.

A Privilege to Camp
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave because of conduct inappropriate to Christian character. Failure to abide by above rules may mean you will be asked to forfeit your camping privilege.
