FOR 15 –17 YEAR OLDS

The Ranch Hand program has roots in our Horsemanship camp programs, but this year it is expanding into new areas of CranHill! Designed to build up the next generation of servant leaders, the Ranch Hand program will focus on developing Christian character through service opportunities. The program will have a 1-week orientation where they will receive leadership training and be equipped with hands-on ways to meet needs at camp. Campers will then return to camp to complete up to 2 service weeks* where they will apply the hands-on training they received.

Ranch Hands will learn new skills, have fun, and enhance the experience of other campers & guests. The program will use Christian Camping experiences and service opportunities in three areas:

i) Barn Ranch Hands (Previous horse experience required)

ii.) Program Ranch Hands- These will serve in helping with games and serving as Junior Cabin Leaders during their service weeks. (Must have completed 1 year of regular Ranch Hand prior or be 17 to be eligible for this option) An interview with the Program Director will be required.

iii.) Special OPS (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Barn Store)

Ranch hands will learn about teamwork, the impact we have on others, and how to follow Christ and lead others through service.

$505

Price includes 1 orientation camp week and up to 2 service weeks*

Campers can elect to return for extra service weeks(beyond the initial 2 weeks) for a small additional $125 fee to cover food and housing.

*Each Ranch Hand will schedule their service weeks at the discretion of CranHill.

"The ranch hand program provides many opportunities for kids to grow in maturity as they journey towards adulthood and in their relationship with Christ."
